Guest Lecture on Mosquito Borne diseases and its control.

“ज्ञान, विज्ञान आणि सुसंस्कार  यासाठी शिक्षण प्रसार”- शिक्षणमहर्षी डॉ. बापूजी    साळुंखे with this moto Shikshanmaharshi  Dr. Bapuji Salunkhe has established, Shri Swami Vivekanand Shikshan Sanstha Kolhapur.  Our college Lal Bahadur  Shastri  College of Arts ,Science & Commerce Satara was affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur.

  P.G. Department of Zoology has organized lecture on “Mosquito Borne Diseases and its control’’ on 20^th August, 2022 by Speaker of the  Programme Miss. Nalawade P.H.,

             The Lecture was introduced by  Prof. Dr. S.M. Pawar madam   Head of the Department  Zoology. The speaker covered and explained the aspect about mosquito as vector for various diseases as dengue, malaria, chickengunia and elephantasis with informative powerpoint slides. She also explained various control measures to protect us from mosquito bite.

In this program 50 Students as 15 boys and 35 girls with 7 teachers were actively participated. The vote of thanks was Delivered by Dr. V. S. Jadhav sir.
