A Visit to Government
Fish Breeding Centre, Dhom
As per the syllabus of Shivaji
University, Kolhapur, Lal Bahadur Shastri College of Arts, Science and
Commerce, Satara, P.G. Department of Zoology had organized a visit of B.Sc. III
students to Government Fish Breeding Centre, Dhom on 2nd December,
2022 with the following objectives.

To observe diverse
cultured fish species.
·
To study various rearing
methods and tools used for fish farming.
·
To study construction of
ponds and stock maintenance in pond culture.
