Blood Sugar Level Detection Camp

Lal Bahadur Shastri College of Arts, Science & Commerce Satara was affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur.
On the occasion of Shri. Swami Vivekanand
Birth Anniversary P.G. Department of Zoology had organized ‘Blood Sugar
Level Detection Camp’ on 16th January 2023 at Zoology
laboratory.
This
Blood Sugar Level Detection Camp was inaugurated by auspicious hands of Prin.
Dr. R.V. Shejawal (Secretory Administration of Shri. Swami Vivekanand Shikshan
Sanstha, Kolhapur), in the presence of Mr. R.S. Bagadi and Mr. Vijay Shingan.
The introductory speech was given by Dr. V.S. Jadhav, he welcomes all the
dignitaries on behalf of department and college.
Health
is Wealth according to this phenomenon our principal guided to all faculty
members, he also talks about physical fitness, mental fitness and their
importance in our daily life.
During
this camp we detected weight, blood pressure, pulse rate, Blood Sugar Level and
SpO2 with the help of
standard instrument and procedure. In this camp total 51 staff were
participated (25 female and 26 male) out of these few staff members have
identified as high blood sugar level up to 488 mg/lit we recommend to these
staff member to consult with their family doctor.
This
camp is successfully organized under the guidance of Head, Department of
Zoology Prof. Dr. S. M. Pawar and all faculty members. The camp was concluded
with vote of thanks by Miss. Zore G.J.
