Exhibition of Fishes
P. G. Department of Zoology of
Lal Bahadur Shastri College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Satara was organized
a exhibition on Fishes on the occasion
of World Fisheries Day on 21st November 2022 from 11.30 am to 4.00 pm. Students
from B.Sc. I, II, III and M.Sc. I, II class were allowed to
“Fish Exhibition” was inaugurated by
Principal Dr R. V. Shejawal, Administrative Secretory, Shri Swami Vivekanand Shikshan Sanstha,
Kolhapur and felicitate all the guest by Prof. (Dr.) S. M. Pawar.
Dr. V.S. Jadhav gives
introductory speech and explains the purpose of Fish Exhibition. All the
faculty members give information of all the fish species which are kept in
Fish Exhibition.
Total 80 different types of
freshwater fish species, few marine water fish species and various types of
fishing nets were kept in this exhibition. Participated students were observed
fish species carefully and acquired knowledge of all species of fish by “Fish
Exhibition”.
In this Exhibition total 52 students as 18 boys and 34 girls
with 6 teachers were actively participated. All these activities were carried
out by continuous inspiration and moral support of Prin. Dr. R.V. Shejawal Sir.
The function was concluded by Miss Gujar M.P. giving vote of thanks.
